Lyttelton Port of Christchurch is a publicly listed company on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX). We have approximately 824 shareholders and LPC has an obligation to all of these shareholders to achieve the best long-term commercial result that it can.

The largest shareholder of LPC is currently Christchurch City Holdings Ltd (CCHL), a commercial entity owned by Christchurch City Council. Although CCHL owns a large portion of Lyttelton Port Company's shares, LPC operates independently and at arms length from CCHL.
