| Consultation and Information Sharing |
LPC is mindful of the impact our business can have on the local community and we are committed to engaging with our local community on issues of interest. During the 2007/2008 year LPC initiated two major consultation exercises, one relating to public ferry access, and the other to possible capital dredging of the shipping navigation channel and in early 2009 we hosted a public information day related to the propopsed coal stockyard expansion project. LPC is also actively invovled in or represented on a variety of local community organisations and associations. |
