New LPC Health & Safety Induction Process
In June Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) will replace the existing Health and Safety induction with a new process which will be available online.
The on-line induction will provide a better user-experience and, most importantly, ensure critical safety information is easily accessed and understood by all those entering LPC’s Lyttelton Port, MidlandPort or CityDepot.
The induction will be available on the LPC website. It consists of a short video welcoming inductees and introducing the Port and critical risks in operational areas, followed by a presentation tailored to the needs of employees and different Port Users. The induction will finish with a short questionnaire.
Those needing access to LPC facilities will need to complete the Health, Safety and Environment induction prior to their application to LPC Security to gain access.
Further information about the new induction process will be provided before it goes live on the LPC website.
If you have any questions please talk to your usual LPC contact or our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team.
We appreciate your co-operation and support as we introduce this new induction process which is part of our focus on ensuring everyone goes Home Safe everyday.
