Public Notice - Security Access Card Needed for Delivering Hardfill to LPC Reclamation

From June 30, all commercial drivers delivering hard fill to Lyttelton Port will be required to have a security access card to gain entry to the Port.

For the security and safety of all Port Users and LPC staff, commercial drivers delivering hard fill for the Te Awaparahi Bay reclamation will be required to complete this online induction and fill out this application for a security card.

Once complete, when drivers arrive at Lyttelton Port’s Security Gatehouse, they must show their photo ID before paying $30 for a security access card at Waterfront House reception which will allow drivers through the Port Users gate.

Each individual driver must complete the induction and obtain a security access card. Applications can be emailed in by companies if they already have an LPC account.

LPC is happy to work with commercial operators to make this transition as smooth as possible.
