The second year of Te Puna Manawa, CCHL Women’s Leadership Development Programme, concluded on Tuesday, April 1st with Group Presentations and Graduation ceremony.
Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL) CEO, Matthew Slater, presented the certificates, and leaders from all subsidiaries attended the event.
This year saw 16 participants from the seven CCHL subsidiaries complete the 6-month programme. The programme aims to develop leadership skills and strategies, while strengthening support networks for women within CCHL organisations.
LPC participants were Kirsty Brennan, Kiriana Coleman, and Kay Male. Members of the Executive Team and Board also participated in aspects of the programme including offering mentorship and sponsorship and participating as guest speakers to the group.
As well as developing confidence, strategic ability, influence and impact, the participants worked on one of four group projects, with a presentation of outcomes.
The group projects presented covered a variety of pertinent topics including Work-Life Balance, Career Stories, Awareness of menopause in the workplace, and the importance of Mentorship.
