
Lyttelton Port Company has released its 2026 Annual Report, highlighting progress in safety, infrastructure and its role supporting South Island trade.
During FY26, the Port facilitated more than $15.4 billion in two-way trade, including $8.03 billion in exports and $7.4 billion in imports.
The report highlights progress in health and safety, reflecting a stronger proactive reporting culture.
LPC also received the Work Related Safety Award at the 2026 Safeguard New Zealand Workplace Health and Safety Awards.
The report includes confirmation of the $821 million Te Awaparahi Bay Expansion and Resilience Project, which will deliver new infrastructure to increase capacity and strengthen the resilience of the South Island supply chain.
The Annual Report also records revenue of $226 million, EBITDA of $75.6 million and underlying net profit after tax of $33.4 million.
