LYTTELTON PORT AND RMTU REACH AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE

18 April 2018 Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) and the Rail and Maritime Transport Union (RMTU) have today reached an agreement in principle regarding terms of settlement. As a result, the RMTU has lifted all strike notices and LPC has withdrawn its lockout notice. Read more

LPC MEDIA RELEASE – Lyttelton Port issued with further strike notice

11 April 2018 Lyttelton Port has today received a further notice of strike action for 26 April to 29 April by the Rail and Maritime Transport Union (RMTU) for approximately 11 Marine staff. Strike action by this small group will close the Port. Read more
